An exciting opportunity to join NHS Tayside Associate Clinical Nurse SpecialistBand 6 Part Time (18.75 hours) 23 months fixed termThis is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced, highly motivated nurse to work with the Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist Teams within Specialist Palliative Care Services, Macmillan Day Care Unit, Royal Victoria Hospital, Dundee.This development opportunity provides an experienced nurse with the chance to work with the Dundee Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist team in the community care settings.You will be a Registered Nurse with a degree and a minimum of five years post registration experience. Experience and evidence of continuing professional development in palliative care is required. Community nursing experience is desirable.The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care is to provide expertise and influence patient care via the primary carer by exercising high levels of judgement and decision making clinical care. The primary concern of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to bring the highest standards of clinical care to patients and their families through a variety of means.
