We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at a prestigious seafood establishment in Aberdeen. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high culinary standards that define our restaurant. If you havea flair for seafood and a commitment to excellence, we’d love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation: Prepare and cook seafood dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail.Station Management: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., fish, shellfish, or grill) and ensure smooth operations during service.Quality Control: Maintain consistent quality by adhering to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including sous chefs and commis chefs, to ensure efficient teamwork.Hygiene and Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.Menu Development: Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and specials, showcasing Scotland’s finest seafood.Training: Mentor junior chefs and commis chefs, fostering their growth and development.RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 2 years as a Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant, preferably with seafood expertise however all applications will be considered.Culinary Skills: Proficiency in seafood preparation, cooking techniques, and flavour combinations.Creativity: Ability to elevate classic dishes and create innovative seafood offerings.Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Certifications: Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher).BenefitsWork Schedule: Enjoy a 4-day workweek, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.Tips: Additional earnings of £4-£5 per hour from gratuities.
