Job Description

ParaplannerStockport Salary up to £40,000(Experience dependant)26 days holiday, you acquire 1 day for 2 years of service.You will receive an additional days leave on your Birthday.Full exam supportFlexible working hours between 8.00-19.00PMI, X4 Death in service 5% Employer contributionFresh fruit delivered to the office on a daily basisOur client is a highly progressive and buoyant Firm of Independent Financial Planners who maintain an excellent relationship for providing bespoke Financial Advice to their Clients.As a result of ongoing growth and recent promotions an excellent opportunityhas become available for an aspiring Paraplanner to join their organisation. The successful candidate will be working closely with a team of Paraplanners and Financial Planners to present bespoke suitability reports. Duties:

  • Supporting the Consultants in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Supporting Consultants in preparing accurate financial plans and suitability reports.
  • Have a full understanding of Holistic Financial planning and be comfortable querying consultants.
  • Have experience of dealing with all aspects of advice, such as Inheritance Tax Planning, Trusts, Bonds and higher risk investment such as EIS/VCT/BPR.
  • To provide support, where needed, to the Head of Operations and Compliance.
  • Developing and maintaining internal relationships with various areas of the business to meet agreed targets.
  • Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs.
  • Managing individual workflow and delivery.
  • Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally
  • To provide technical guidance to the Client Services Team (CST), assisting with product specific, technical and compliance-based queries. Working with CST to ensure advice is implemented accurately and compliantly.
To be considered you will need to have industry related experience and will ideally be working towards industry related exams, OR be passionate about obtaining the Level 4 Diploma.
