Job Description

Crowe Watson Recruitment is delighted to partner with a prestigious firm of Chartered Accountants based in Altrincham, seeking to appoint an experienced Audit Senior. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team within a well-establishedand progressive firm, renowned for its expertise and commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and financial integrity.As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for overseeing audit processes, managing junior staff, and maintaining the firms reputation for quality. You will work closely with clients across various sectors, providing you with a breadth of exposure andthe opportunity to develop specialised skills. The role demands a proactive and analytical approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and client satisfaction.This position is ideal for an ambitious professional who thrives in a fast-paced and supportive environment.   • Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreed timescales.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to develop their audit and accounting skills.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their businesses and responding promptly to their requests and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and keep abreast of changes and developments in the financial sector.
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in managing audits and leading teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial information in an understandable manner.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office.
