Job Description

Job Role:Secondary English Teacher Locations:North London (Barnet)Daily Rate:(M1) £188.45 - (M6) £244.44 per day PAYEWe are partnering with a leading secondary school in Barnet. The school is seeking a qualified and dedicatedEnglish Teacherto join their team in September, on a long-term contract.The School:Known for giving every child, regardless of their background or ability, the opportunity to live life to the full and realise their potential. A school with strong values and an environment where students are given the chance to flourish.The role is full time, beginning in September, for up to 12 months. Pay is commensurate with experience on the main teaching pay scale - Inner London.Mandatory Requirements foranEnglish Teacher:

  • Hold a UK recognised Teaching qualification, with QTS.
  • Be confident teaching English to Secondary level students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
The IdealEnglish Teacherwill:
  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning, ensuring that individual educational goals are met.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Help to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and conflict resolution among students.
