Job Description

Have you undertaken your AAT, either completely or part way through but have decided a hands-on accounting role is just not for youIf you answered Yes, the position detailed below would mean your study and subsequent qualification will not be wasted in this instance - read on to find out more.************************************************************************Miles Recruitment are supporting a Bath based client to hire them a Senior Administrator.With a reputation to be proud of across their delivery of high-quality training and continuing professional development (CPD) for a niche group of studiers who use their services, they are a company you can be passionate about working for.As their new Senior Administrator, your primary focus will be to support apprentices on developing their portfolios across The Association of Accounting Technicians - AAT.About the position of Senior Administrator It is a busy and varied position, where you will find yourself:

  • supporting individuals (employees and studiers) to prepare and meet their End Point Assessment (EPA) and have complied the relevant work-based evidence
  • offering 1:1 support to professionals undertaking the AAT and as well as their direct employers, both by phone and in person when required
  • managing and prioritizing incoming correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail
  • Administering and processing of the Apprenticeship Levy and ensuring compliance with the new standards
  • Communicating with internal and external bodies including Ofsted, the ESFA and other professional and awarding organisations
Yours skills and experience required
  • You will be proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Have excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Hold strong IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office in particular word and excel
  • Experience of working in a business or finance environment, this would be the icing on the cake
  • If you hold an Assessor qualification or are willing to work towards this qualification within the first year of employment this would be the cherry on the top for our client
