Reed is representing a client in the charity sector seeking a Retail Shop Manager to oversee one of their shops in Bath. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a position with a sense of job satisfaction, excellent career prospects, and a competitivebenefits package. Day to Day of the role:

Oversee the shop’s operations, ensuring effective management of volunteers, paid staff, premises, and stock.
Drive sales to meet or exceed performance targets while upholding security and health and safety standards.
Serve as the main key holder for the shop, responsible for opening, closing, and responding to emergency call-outs.
Actively recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support the store’s efficient operation and promote the charity’s mission.
Adhere to all administrative and financial procedures, including cash handling, banking, weekly reporting, and volunteer record maintenance.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation to safeguard yourself and others.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must possess a valid UK driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle.
Proven experience in general management, with a preference for retail background.
A customer-focused approach to work, with an emphasis on responsiveness and adaptability.
Understanding of Health & Safety and Fire Regulations.
Retail experience is a must.
