Job Description

JOB: Internal Key Account Manager LOCATION: Bingley, West Yorkshire (BD16)STATUS: PermanentSALARY: Circa £35k(negotiable, depending upon experience)HOURS: 37.5 hours per week - these can be very flexible from 7am starts to 5pm finishesMy client is seeking an experienced Internal Key Account Manager from a manufacturing or engineering background.You will have a small team of between two and four administration staff with responsibility for a couple of Global customers and be the product specialist for those accounts in relation to a couple of specific product lines.You will have been working within, and have a good understanding of, a manufacturing/engineering environment and have a proven track record of dealing with Key Accounts. You will be able to demonstrate that you have provided customers with an exceptional class of customer service, increasing customer satisfaction andensuring customer loyalty and retention.You will be responsible for the estimating; technical configuration and contract review; all aspects of customer service; timely feedback and provision of information.Reporting into the Commercial Manager, the Internal Key Account Manager is responsible for the growth of target platinum global accounts and specific product lines. You will be managing change and delivering improved business performance.You will have a team of Internal Sales Estimators and Customer Services Representatives and you will be leading and developing and motivating your team through a sustained period of growth, working with the functional managers to deliver quality productson time and at the right cost.It is essential that you have clear and concise written and verbal communication skills; build excellent relationships at all levels of business; be a great problem-solver; have a positive work ethic that encourages and motivates others around you; be ableto demonstrate business acumen; and be able to accurately identify customer requirements by understanding engineering drawings and customer specifications.If you feel that this job "has your name on it", please let me have your CV as soon as possible.
