Job Description

Community Psychiatric Nurse (Adhoc) – Birmingham – Ongoing OpportunityAre you a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with community experience seeking an exciting new challenge Join our team and make a difference in urgent care for CAMHS in Birmingham.Role Details:

  • Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Urgent Care CAMHS (Adhoc)
  • Band: 6
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
  • Schedule: Long days / 1-2 shifts per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Rate of Pay: £26 per hour
Role Overview: As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential care to patients in the community. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting patient visits to ensure their needs are met
  • Administering medication at prescribed times to address patients health needs
  • Engaging with patients to understand their conditions, monitor progress, and provide efficient support
  • Performing risk assessments to ensure patient safety and creating a secure environment during treatment
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Active registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse
  • Proven community experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care
