Job Description

Contracts Manager - Mechanical Construction Job Title: Contracts Manager - Mechanical ConstructionIndustry Sector: Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Heat Pumps, Decarbonisation, Net Zero, HVAC, Commercial HVAC, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heat Recovery, Health, Education, Subcontractor, AC, Air Conditioning Units, VentilationLocation: Birmingham Remuneration: £70,000 - £80,000Benefits: Company van (business use), pension, health cash plan, 4x death in service, 22 days annual leave The role of the Contracts Manager - Mechanical Construction will involve:

  • Contracts Manager position dealing with various decarbonisation projects including biomass
  • Managing the projects from start to finish ensuring that deadlines and budgets are adhered to
  • Providing project specific information to the HSQE team so that RAMS can be produced
  • Process orders of materials & equipment to ensure they are delivered to site on time and only there for required period
  • Attend site and office meetings and report back on project status
  • Ensure that all variations are quantified, recorded and approved by clients
  • Identify and keep on top of any risks, ensuring these are documented
  • Dealing with reactive enquiries for projects
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager - Mechanical Construction with:
  • Must have Project Management / Contracts Management experience within HVAC / mechanical construction market sector
  • Must be a resilient individual that can resolve site issues
  • Understanding of technical drawings
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Ideally holding CSCS card and SMSTS
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
