Job Description

.NET Developer (.NET, API, SQL, Azure) Up to £48,000 I am looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join the IT team for my nationalleading client in their modern Birmingham City Centre office with truly amazing views. My client have a very clear goal in place, which has seen their development and data team grow from 4 to 20 in last few years. You will have a chance to join an amazing company, where you will be able to reachyour full potential and take real ownershipof the work/ projects.The role is offered on a hybrid basis (Monday and Friday at home) with flexible working hours as well.Day to day duties of the role include:

  • Spearhead the development of browser-based web solutions to streamline business processes and drive efficiency.
  • Enhance and maintain their Management Systems to meet the business’s dynamic needs.
  • Liaise with third-party providers for API integration, potentially developing API wrappers as required.
  • Uphold industry standards and best practices to ensure their systems are secure, robust, and optimised.
  • Manage and optimise databases, including tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and indexes.
  • Provide accurate estimates for development tasks, juggling multiple projects without compromising quality.
  • Generate comprehensive documentation to support the development infrastructure.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to shape technical solutions and adapt to ever-changing company needs and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications are:
  • Proficiency in .NET framework / .NET Core (C#), ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Functions.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server with expert-level T-SQL skills.
  • Commitment to writing clean, efficient, readable, and well-documented code.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing effective testing plans.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting common database issues and optimising SQL statements.
Additional Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of Agile development principles and Continuous Integration.
  • Familiarity with Azure Stack, Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and Microservice Architecture.
  • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and any modern framework.
