Job Description

Functional Consultant - D365 Business Central (Manufacturing)Incredible opportunity for an experience Functional Analyst / Functional Consultant with Manufacturing sector experience and MS Navision and Business Central Manufacturing module ERP experience to work as part of a Global ERP team for a growing manufacturing organisationClient DetailsGlobal Manufacturing client embarking on a global growth journey across the UK, Europe and North AmericaDescription

  • Working as part of a Global ERP team to assist with the global deployment of MS Dynamics Business Central to multiple sites across UK, Europe and Singapore
  • Functional Analysis role, working with customers to elicit requirements and identifying paths for improvement with ERP processes and implementing D365 BC with new customers
  • Full lifecycle project work with Navision and D365 implementations from gap analysis, systems analysis, design, deployment, testing and post go-live support and training
  • Migration of Navision 5.0 to Business Central
  • Configuration of MSD365 Business Central
  • Applying subject matter expertise in the Manufacturing module of Business Central
  • Working with Microsoft Systems Integration partner and other 3rd party vendors
  • Strong communication skills to work with leadership team, customers on the "shop floor" and strategic vendor partners
    • ProfileESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • MS Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP experience is a MUST HAVE to be considered for this role - 5 years minimum ERP implementation experience with MS ERP products, specifically MS Navision and D365 Business Central
  • Candidates must have some FRENCH SPEAKING skills to a conversational level in order to work with French stakeholders / customers
  • Applicants must be willing and able to travel to various customer sites and stay away from home during go-live and for other important events (France, Singapore, Netherlands, Northampton, Montreal) - length of time away could vary from 1 week - 6 weeks at a time
  • Strong knowledge of the Manufacturing Modules of MSD365 BC and Navision are crucial to the success of this position
  • Applicants will need to be autonomous, able to work as part of a global team and also with minimal supervision - tenacious and comfortable getting to know stakeholders is key
  • Manufacturing sector experience
    • DESIRABLE SKILLS
  • Experience working in Medical Device Manufacturing with knowledge of FDA and/or similar regulatory frameworks will be advantageous
  • Experience working with other modules of MS Dynamics Business Central - Inventory Management, Distribution, Finance, Quality would be useful
  • Experience working on Global ERP deployments in Global companies considered to be massively advantageous
