Job Description

KS2 Teaching AssistantWill you be a graduate in September 2024 who needs to gain experience of working with pupils, or in a school setting, to kickstart a successful career in educationCould you use your interpersonal skills and friendly personality to support KS2 pupils to achieve their best across the syllabus*** KS2 Teaching Assistant*** Yardley*** £80-£90 per day*** September 2024- July 2025*** 1:1 and small group support for KS2 pupils across the curriculum.*** Structured support scheme for new staff, as well as ongoing CPD opportunities.Requirements:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree with a 2:1 classification.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the learning of young pupils.
  • Dedication to the improvement and achievement of KS2 pupils.
  • Previous experience of supporting pupils, or working in a school setting, is advantageous but not essential.
The Role
  • Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to KS2 pupils across the syllabus.
  • Assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivery of engaging lesson plans.
  • Assessing pupils’ classwork to identify any additional learning needs.
  • Creating personalised support strategies to support the individual needs of pupils.
  • Participating enthusiastically in extra-curricular activities to create a positive learning environment.
