Job Description

Solution ArchitectBirmingham£750.00 per day OUTSIDE IR35Mainly remoteMust haves: Finance/finance transformation functionMust have been involved from a design perspectiveAble to guide others in a teamWorkday, AzureGood Architect neededWith Recent: Finance Transformation ; Finance Systems Migration or any type of Finance related project experience neededWorkday Finance SystemKafka and/or Snowflake exp good to haveAny industry exp is fine, FS would be idealResponsibilities:Create and build solutions within the finance and risk systems environment.

  • Align architectural solutions with business vision and goals.
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to collect requirements and convert them into system designs.
  • Document solution alternatives that will satisfy the requirements and governance frameworks, balancing the objectives and constraints of the solution.
  • Assess and propose new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and dependability.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the development team.
  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices in system architecture.
  • Collaborate with product teams to comprehend product requirements and translate into technical solutions.
  • Partner with Change Delivery to ensure that the system or solution delivered is consistent with the agreed architecture and provides value to the stakeholders.
  • Work to resolve challenges and issues; identify and mitigate key technical risks.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with the business and technology strategies.
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Solutions Architect role or similar position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Workday, cloud services, MSA, and Snowflake.
  • Skills in ETL processes and tools
  • Knowledge of interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies.
  • Ability to design and implement solutions that work with legacy architecture.
