Job Description

Are you looking to build some teaching experience before September Look no further!Tradewind seeks an enthusiastic and energetic ECTs for a wonderful opportunity in a primary school in Bolton.*You must have QTS*When: ASAPWhere: BoltonPay: £120 - £150 (depending on experience, you can negotiate a higher rate)About the SchoolAt this school, the aim is to provide children with the very best education and experiences.The school is a friendly, happy place, buzzing with activity and positive energy. Its supportive and purposeful atmosphere underpins pupils successes and helps them discover their unique talents and strengths.The staff are committed to fostering a love of learning in each pupil and developing the skills and values necessary for their all-round development.ECTThe successful teacher must possess teaching experience.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Create engaging lessons that align with the KS1/ KS2 National Curriculum standards and support the creative curriculum delivered by the school
  • Understand age-related expectations for children within KS1/ KS2 and scaffold and stretch accordingly to maximise educational outcomes for pupils as individuals
  • Keep up-to-date records of data and analyse where and what to reteach to bridge gaps in learning and maintain high levels of attainment
  • Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
  • Work effectively as a team player with the TA, key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice
