Working closely with the Head of Engineering, your responsibilities will encompass proactivemaintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, and the installation of cutting-edge machinery. Your expertise will directly impact production efficiency and contribute to the companys growth trajectory.Key Responsibilities:

  • Swift response to machine breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime and uphold production continuity.
  • Diagnosis and resolution of mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to maintain peak operational performance.
  • Implementation of preventive maintenance strategies to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to schedule and prioritise maintenance tasks.
  • Provision of technical guidance during equipment setup and changeovers to optimise production processes.
  • Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives and the integration of innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating a strong technical aptitude.
  • Electrical expertise and familiarity with PLC programming are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex machinery and implementing effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
