Job Description

Our client is looking for a hardworking Welder to join the growing team at their site in Cheshire.WelderCheshire, SK6 2SS

  • Full Time, Permanent
  • £13.50 per hour
Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKOur client has over 50 years experience manufacturing industrial showers and eyewashes to suit all environments.You will be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, willing to reward those who are driven to providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.As well as being a key member of the team that further strengthens the foundation of the business, you will have the opportunity to add value that is felt throughout their customer base.About the Welder roleThe overall purpose of the role is to ensure that all welding and fabrication processes, equipment and supporting systems operate to their maximum effectiveness, within specified safety and cost constraints, and that all products are of the desired quality.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop all necessary systems and processes to ensure that products are of the appropriate quality and within the established cost limits.
  • Monitor processes to resolve any problems and remove bottlenecks.
  • Maintain an awareness of new developments in technology and relevant production processes and evaluate and apply those that may be of benefit to the company.
  • Maintain an awareness of customer requirements and any complaints to identify any areas that may need development or improvement
  • Receive and store consumables to ensure that there are sufficient stocks to meet production requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workspace.
  • Carry out any reasonable request as required by your line manager.
Skills and experience:
  • Flexible to work anywhere within the factory.
  • Prepared to undergo training as necessary.
  • Willing to follow processes as required
