Vehicle Delivery DriverBrentford, TW8£24,960 paMon to Fri 8:30am to 5:30pmRenault London West seeks a Vehicle Delivery Driver to join our flagship dealership on The Great West Road, TW8. The main purpose of this role is to support our Used Car Sales Team in their day-to-day operations by way of vehicle deliveries and transportation.Duties will include trade plate driving, transporting, collecting and delivering cars to specified locations in and around the area and nearby Home Counties as instructed. Most commonly this will be delivery and/or transportation of used vehicles betweenRenault London West (Brentford, TW8) and our Prep Centre in Hayes (UB3), although there will be occasional instances where transport may need to occur between other dealerships in Greater London.You will be expected to maintain standards of cleanliness, documentation, keys etc.; utilising the correct trade plates for each vehicle transfer assignment; maintain organised & accurate VAT fuel receipts for fuel card & odometer reconciliation; ensureany damage is notified to the Used Car Sales Manager in order that appropriate action can be taken; carry out occasional delivery of vehicles to customer addresses; inspection of vehicles with relevant sales/service colleague or customer prior to handover.During these activities you must maintain safe working practices and standards as instructed by management and our HSE Team.Occasionally for holiday cover or dealership events there may be on-site car park attendant duties, which may include control of customer cars as they arrive, directing them where to park, and coordination of stock vehicles as they arrive on sitevia transporters to ensure maximum access and ensuring customer parking bays are as free as possible, parking cars safely and securely in the designated areas, moving fully-prepared cars to handover areas, assisting technicians and other colleagues in unblockingaccess to vehicles that need to be worked on and keeping the dealership’s car park clean, tidy and fully accessible for parts delivery trucks and vans.Please note: We will strongly prioritise candidates that have worked in a similar Trade Plate role(s) at a car dealership(s) before.Candidates must be / have:

• Excellent communication skills for when interacting with colleagues and customers
• Good geographical knowledge of roads in Greater London & Home Counties and TFL public transport systems
• a strong attention to detail to identify faults, damage, defects and/or missing inventory
• punctual, with a strong track record of maintaining tight daily collection and delivery / multi-drop deadlines
• A 4/5G enabled Android 8.0/iPhone i0S11 or newer smartphone in good working condition with an up-to-date satellite navigation (satnav) app with integrated traffic updates.
• A full UK driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive and manoeuvre a variety of vehicles. It must have been held for at least 5 years and with no more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements such as IN, DD, DG, DR, CD, MR, TT.
• Aged 25 and over to meet insurance requirements.

Candidates that are progressed beyond the apply’ stage will be asked to provide their DVLA Check summary.This role will operate Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with 1-hour lunch break. 40 hours per week.
