Job Description

We are looking for Care Assistants & Dementia Friends in the Brentwood area of Essex. No experience is necessary as there is an amazing enrolment programme covering all the training you will need. It is essential that you are a car driver.

  • £10.00 - £11.50 per hour.
  • Pension scheme, paid holidays, & employee Assistance programme.
  • Part-time hours with mix of mornings, lunchtimes, afternoons, evenings, and alternate weekends.
  • If you want just evening work or just weekends, that could work too.
    • This homecare provider’s services are provided in people’s own homes and they have job vacancies in the Brentwood, Shenfield, Hutton, Upminster, Billericay, Ingatestone and surrounding villages of Essex. They have won multiple awards over the years and have built an excellent reputation within communities across the UK. This exceptional service is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a purely private client base, but the focus being on companionship. The owner started the service after seeing the benefit that quality care had on his Grandmother, allowing her to be independent in her own home until the age of 92. Job Role You will be carefully matched to older adults in your local area and you will support them to remain independent both in their own home and by keeping them active in the local community. This would include:
  • Assisting with daily routine including mornings, lunchtimes and evenings and alternate weekends.
  • Assisting with personal care.
  • Prompting to take any medications.
  • Taking them out shopping or for some exercise.
  • Preparing meals and light household duties.
  • Being a reliable companion and someone, they can rely on.
