Job Description

Audit Manager Brierley Hill Circa £48k Per Annum PermanentOur client has been established for over 30 years and has a reputation in the market for excellence, they boast a very low turnover of staff, and their business is extremely people focused. They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Audit Managerto join an already successful team, and this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that wants to progress through their career.This is a UK based role and candidates will require previous Audit Manager / Assistant Manager experience to apply.What’s on offer -

The role -
  • To lead multiple audit engagements from planning through to finalisation of reports, within agreed timescales.
  • Working closely with clients ensuring an exceptional service is provided.
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day management of stakeholder relationships at audited entities.
  • Reviewing work carried out by other members of the audit team.
  • Involvement in planning workload.
  • Assisting with compliance needs of the ACCA (this is not essential but is desirable).
  • Overseeing and developing junior team members.
  • Work closely with Senior leaders up to Partner Level.
What we are looking for -
  • ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification preferable but part qualified candidates will be considered.
  • Previous Audit Assistant Manager or Manager level experience required.
  • Technical knowledge required: UK GAAP, FRS 102 and Companies Act.
  • Experience of leading external audits.
  • Managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Leading audit teams.
  • Experience of managing, training, and coaching team members.
