Job Description

Quinton Davies are pleased to announce that we have an amazing opportunity for a Finance Business Partnerto join an international, award-winning, legal firm as they continue to hit their impressive growth targets - here are the details of the job vacancy:Company: Global elite legal firm Job title: Finance Business PartnerContract length: 18-month FTC (likely to be extended or made permanent)Salary: £55,000 - £65,000Location: Bristol (3 days a week in the office) This role can offer you:

Here are a few examples of what your daily tasks would include:
  • Collaborating with Operations Directors, HR, and Marketing to provide comprehensive cross-functional operational support.
  • Delivering robust financial business partnering to UK practice groups and sectors to enhance financial performance.
  • Engaging with senior leadership to drive stakeholder engagement and support strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with BD and partners to ensure pitch responses are profitable and commercially sound.
  • Assisting in developing financial metrics and tools to support financial reporting, profitability growth, pricing strategies, and innovation.
  • Automate and streamline existing financial reporting processes, ensuring adaptability to stakeholder needs.
Sound interesting These are the required skills for the role:
  • Demonstrated experience in a complex business environment, with a strong grasp of business strategy and commercial awareness.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • The ability to write insightful financial and commercial commentaries based upon sound financial management
  • Proven ability to build and develop strong relationships within the business, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance people.
  • Confidence to influence and challenge business decisions where appropriate.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in manipulating complex data sets and creating financial models.
Experience in the following is not essential but will help you in the role:
  • You will ideally be qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and come from a legal or professional services background.
