Job Description

Role: Insurance Branch DirectorLocation: Bristol, BS32Salary: £65kWe are working exclusively with a successful and growing Chartered Insurance Broker who are seeking to recruit an experienced Branch Director to be based from their Bristol office.The Branch Director is ultimately responsible for leading their own branch strategy to achieve the budgeted P&L and support the wider business strategic growth and development plans. You will effectively lead and motivate your Team of Account Executivesin supporting them to achieve high performance targets, building and maintaining effective relationships, and driving a string pipeline of new business opportunities.You will also support and hold responsibility for the branch Team Manager in managing the Account Handling team and driving a positive client experience and the delivery of revenue growth.Role and responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the delivery of the branch strategy whilst maintaining your own portfolio of clients
  • Deliversales andgrowththrough effective local sales and marketing strategies and cross selling in existing accounts
  • Maintain and foster a growth mindset throughout the branch
  • Attend client meetings to identify their needs and present recommendations of cover,maximising opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other regional and central offices to share best practice and transfer information
Skills and experience required:
  • Proven and demonstrable Commercial Insurance experience essential
  • Leadership experience at Director or Manager level
  • Strong level of understanding of the Financial Services industry
  • Certificate in Insurance or similar advantageous
  • Confident personality with outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
  • Positive attitude towards work with a "can do" ethos
  • Strong influencing, sales and account management skills
  • Ambitious and willing to grow within an expanding organisation
