Job Description

Priavte Hospital Pharmacist – Bristol – ASAP startWhether it’s your first locum role or you’re a seasoned veteran, here at Hunter we are dedicated to helping you find the perfect role!We are currently looking for an incredible locum Pharmacist to work with our client in Bristol, in a Priavte Hospital.   • Job Title: Priavte Hospital Pharmacist
  • Location: Bristol
  • Duration: 6 Months
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9AM – 5:15PM
  • Start Date: July
  • Rate of pay: £30 - £40 per hour.

  • Participate in ward rounds to administer patient drug histories and liaise with patient families, community pharmacists and GPs.
  • Providing clinical expertise and being an educational resource for colleagues in relation to medicines e.g. doses, side-effects, alternatives etc whilst helping to address the public health and social needs of individual patients.
  • Manage the process of medicines reconciliation on admittance or following discharge from hospital and liaise with patients and community pharmacists to ensure patients have the medicines that they need.
  • Inpatient dispensary cover required/clinical screening.
