Sport Course LeaderFull time, 37 hours per week£28,260 - £33,766 per annumWho are we looking forBurton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a qualified, committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Sport and Public Services Curriculum Team to deliver on a range of Sport courses.This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a forward thinking, learner centred department. Key focuses involve industry connections, personal development, improving behaviour and attitudes whilst achieving impressive outcomes.The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to innovative learning, teaching and assessment. Ideally be actively engaged within the Sport & Exercise industry and is willing to develop relationships with local, regional and national employers.To be successful it would be essential to hold a good honours degree that is relevant to the post.The College is looking for an individual who is committed to helping learners stretch and challenge themselves and develop the skills necessary for progressing onto their next career step. The position would involve Course Leadership responsibility, monitoringindividual, qualification, and course performance, with identification and implementation of appropriate support.The successful candidate will teach across a range of Sport programmes which could range from Level 1 to Level 6 BA (Hons).
