Job Description

Our client is an established global company with a technical support office in Burton. They are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer who will be responsible for promoting the sale of the Company’s products and services by giving expert technicaland sales support. Key duties will include:

Acquire and maintain complete knowledge concerning the Company’s range of products and services.
Keep up to date with changes in the technology and development of the industry.
Prepare technical quotations and the provision of technical advice to our customers via telephone, fax or electronic mail.
Enter all quotations immediately onto the quotation database thus giving up to date information to all, including the Sales Representatives for use on project tracking
Provide technical support to all merchants, distributors and end users and sales force.
Liaise with our warehouse/service staff
As a part of your day-to-day activities, you must carry out market research e.g., Competitor activity, opportunities to tender for projects

It is expected that the successful candidate will be technically minded and have worked in a sales role. You should also demonstrate excellent communication skills and be great at building client relationships.
