Management Accountant£45,000 Cardiff - 3 days office / 2 homeAre you a skilled Management Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading commercial business in Cardiff Look no further!This well-known business is recruiting for a nearly or newly qualified Management Accountant. You will have the chance to take on both operational and strategic responsibilities for ensuring financial success within the company. Working closely with theproject leadership team, you will implement financial controls and drive change when necessary, all while producing management accounts, P+L, cash flow and balance sheets.This position offers the perfect stepping stone to a Finance Manager role and includes standard hours of 37.5 per week. We understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why we offer flexible work patterns to suit your needs.As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

Managing monthly financial results
Optimising performance
providing insightful analysis on variances
Producing budgets and forecasts
Supporting audit processes
Managing the reporting requirements
Delivery of the new business model across the team
Implementing best practice processes and exploiting the use of SAP for internal and external reporting.

Be nearly or newly qualified CIMA / ACCA
Experience in a similar role
Commercial awareness with the ability to deliver improvements in an operations environment
Strong Excel skills
High level of experience of month end close procedures;
High stake holder management skills
