Job Description

Seeking a skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our clients accountancy practice in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management, with a focus on corporate tax.Client DetailsOur client is a leading professional services firm based in Cambridge. With offices across the Midlands and East, they provide a wide range of tax, audit, and advisory services to businesses of all sizes and sectors.Description

  • Overseeing corporate tax compliance for clients.
  • Providing tax advisory services to clients.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for undertaking technical compliance reviews of corporation tax computations prepared by the team.
  • Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Leading and developing a team of tax professionals.
  • Staying updated on the latest tax laws and regulations.
  • Working closely with other departments to provide integrated services to clients.
  • Contributing to the firms business development efforts.
ProfileA successful Corporate Tax Manager should have:
  • A professional qualification in tax or accounting. (ACA/CTA/ACCA preferable)
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws and regulations - Specifically:
    • M&A transactions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, restructures and reorganisations, succession and exit planning including but not limited to company buybacks, capital reductions & MBOs.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
