Job Description

The Corporate Tax Senior Manager will oversee all corporate tax activities, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, and will provide expert advice on tax-related matters for the companys clients. The successful candidate will bea strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of managing a dynamic team within the professional services industry.Client DetailsThis client is a well-established professional services firm, with offices across the UK.   • Lead corporate tax compliance and planning initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies.
  • Manage tax risk and ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert tax advice to clients and colleagues.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals.
  • Coordinate with other department heads to align tax strategies.
  • Manage relationships with external tax authorities and advisors.
  • Stay abreast of changes in local and international tax legislation.
ProfileA successful Corporate Tax Senior Manager should have:
  • Professional certification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA).
  • Solid understanding of corporate tax laws and regulations. Especially M&A transactions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, restructures and reorganisations, succession and exit planning including but not limited to company buybacks, capital reductions& MBOs.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
