Job Description

The Interim Group Accountant will carry out all of the month end accounting activities, working with external auditors during the interim and year end audit, and other ad hoc tasks and projects.Leading software organisation offering Hybrid working.Responsibilities will include:

  • Month end, H1 and year end postings including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for a range of accounts
  • Act as a key member of the internal team during the interim and year end external audit.
  • Providing information requested and answering auditor queries
  • Support with tax reporting responsibilities such as VAT, US sales tax and corporate tax as required
  • Build and use reporting from NetSuite and Adaptive Planning and Budgeting to provide business insights
  • Work with the wider management team as required during the budgeting and reforecasting processes to encourage alignment around financial goals and objectives
  • Support the wider finance team on current finance projects, working closely with the operations team as required
The successful candidate will be available at short notice. You will be a qualified ACA, ACCA accountant with experience of a similar role.£50,000 to £60,000 depending on experienceEA First Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency for this fixed term contract vacancy.
