Job Description

Logistics Fleet Compliance ControllerCirca £34,000 - depending on skills and experienceCambridge, CB4PermanentDo you have previous exposure to traffic management & logistics Are you organised & proactive At Anglian Water, were looking to recruit a Fleet Controller controlling day-to-day fleet related activities to ensure compliance with Anglian Waters Operators licence and that the internal fleet achieves its performance targets. You will be ensuring feedbackand analysis is available on all aspects of the vehicles and plant related to the operation. You will assist in monitoring the operational costs of vehicles/plant and performance of maintenance contracts. You will be promoting and working on the continualimprovement of a safe working culture within all areas of the operation and the development of a performance culture within the team.Youll be playing a pivotal part in ensuring we effectively transport water recycling by-products around the region from treatment centres to be sold as fertiliser products to farmers whilst also protecting the environment by playing a huge role in helpingto minimise the risk of flooding and pollution by proactively jetting our sewers and drains to both prevent and clear blockages.What does it take to be an Anglian Water Logistics Fleet Compliance Controller

  • Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Previous traffic or general logistics experience would be highly desirable
  • Excellent IT skills - experience with Microsoft Office suite is essential & any use of a CRM or Database system would transfer across well
  • Ability to plan, organise and monitor fleet compliance related activities
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
  • This is a fast-paced & important role, so having resilience & the ability to challenge and question stakeholders is essential
Your role will involve:
  • Ensure systems are administered to provide accurate Working Time Directive and compliance data
  • Reports to be produced highlighting any errors/ issues to the Fleet Manager/ Planning Manager, including: VOR reporting, daily compliance monitoring inspection, Error corrections within fleet management systems, Vehicle pre-use check records and errors
  • Ensuring all instructions to drivers & actions by drivers comply with current legislation & internal procedures, with any non-compliance reported
  • Reporting compliance with the Operators License
  • Logging and feedback on vehicle accidents including all relevant accident reports and repair estimates
  • Administration of fuel cards, and bulk fuel bunkering facilities where appropriate
