Job Description

Accounts AssistantCambridgeshireSalary £18,000 - £22,000Butler Rose are pleased to be representing a progressive accountancy firm in Cambridgeshire that is seeking an Accounts Assistant to deliver high-quality accounts preparation services for a diverse range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships,and limited companies. This role requires a detail-oriented, client-focused individual committed to excellent service.Role Responsibilities

Set up new accounts files
Process draft accounts
Process transactions using cloud software (Xero/QuickBooks/Sage)
Process and complete VAT returns
Communicate with clients
Prepare draft self-assessment tax returns
Load information on to CCH
Communicate directly with HMRC
Undertake general administration tasks
Provide support to Partners and Managers as needed

Personal Requirements

Ideally AAT qualified
Experience in practice
Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
