Job Description

Role: Health & Safety ManagerSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per yearLocation: Sawtry, CambridgeshireDuration: Permanent JobHours: 08:30am - 5pm Monday - FridayWanted: Experienced Health & Safety Manager with a charismatic and energetic personality to join my client at their Sawtry site. My client is a global leader in their field of designing & manufacturing bespoke products for a variety of sectors.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance across all sites and teams with all relevant Statutory Regulations, regarding both Health & Safety and the Environment and maintain an up-to-date awareness of future legislation, advising the business on any impact.
  • Conducting site audits on a periodic basis (both arranged and unannounced)
  • Delivering safety toolbox talks
  • Conducting regular safety meetings.
  • Produce site risk assessments and method statements.
  • Enforcing policies and procedures across the company.
  • Arranging and overseeing all safety training for staff
  • Management of the company training matrix and associated training records
  • Assisting HR with the development of our mentor/ apprenticeship programmes
  • Responsible for fixed inspections and service schedule for factory machinery and equipment including certifications.
  • Carry out Accident Investigations, including suitable root cause analysis and support the Management and supervisory staff in their duties with regards accident investigations.
Skills & Experience Needed:
  • NEBOSH and IOSH certified
  • Manufacturing Experience
  • Multi-Site experience
  • Full UK Driving License
