Job Description

IMMEDIATE STARTS........ Roos Recruitment Ltd are actively recruiting for Machine operators who hold an in date FLT certificate and who have had recent fork lift experience to work outside Norwich for our clients’ campaign season.You will be working a 3 shift pattern, which will include, mornings, afternoon and nights. There is no availability for fixed shifts. OWN TRASNPORT IS ESSENTAIL DUE TO LOCATION & SHIFT TIMES.Your main responsibilities will include:• Operating of bagging machines (full training provided)• Completing of reports and required paperwork • Unloading materials from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places• Locating and moving stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment• Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies• Transport pallets to production workstations• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs• Comply with company policies and health and safety• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilitiesYour role could include all of the above responsibilities, as you will be rotated between different tasks, allowing you to gain multiple skills and experience within each job role. You will be confident in operating a fork lift and have a high level of care and attention. During campaign, you will be working in a fast paced environment, working to strict time frames and deadlines. You will be required to move pallets and materials within the production area as well as load and unload vehicles in allocated time slots. At all times, it is expected that you will operate the forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety.
