Join us for a career focused on tomorrow.What You Will DoAs the Navy Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market share within the Naval sector of GM&N. Your mission is to identify key projects, cultivate relationships with end users, shipyards, and influencers, and engageour sales organization to seize opportunities with a winning mindset.This senior sales position within the GM&N commercial organization grants you the autonomy to align Naval market customer needs with our enterprise capabilities, crafting strategies for securing large and complex deals. Youll be expected to establish andmaintain high-level relationships with key prospects and enterprise accounts in the Naval market.The Navy, Go to Market Initiative is recognized as a high-growth sector within GMN, supported by a dedicated team of core members and facilitators from our sales organization. As a core member, you will collaborate across the enterprise to identify and qualifynew projects, leveraging our comprehensive solutions early in the discovery phase.Understanding customer and stakeholder primary needs, decision drivers, and desired outcomes is crucial. Once a project is qualified, you will work within a team environment to nurture and develop opportunities, leading them to successful outcomes.Leadership is critical to maintaining the growth rooms success. You must be assertive yet tactful in motivating facilitators to align and deliver on outcomes, managing complex business relationships and multiple resources through the process.This highly networked role demands resilience under pressure, strong people management, and commercial skills. You must handle significant responsibility, stay calm under pressure, and carefully interpret instructions.
