The successful candidate will enjoy the privilege of working alongsidethe National Head of Department and the Cardiff Team Leader, supported by a cadre of trainees and paralegals.The firm is looking for an individual who can adeptly manage a caseload of Court of Protection files, including health and welfare disputes and appeals against the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. Advocacy skills are a must, with the confidence to representclients and maintain strong links with counsel for more intricate cases.Experience in both legal aid and privately funded matters is crucial, as is a commitment to delivering exceptional client care. To be considered, candidates must hold a current Practicing Certificate or equivalent CILEX qualification, possess outstanding communication skills, and have a deep-seated passion for Court of Protection work. Emotional intelligence is key, given the sensitivenature of the cases handled. A strong understanding of client care, legal aid commitment, and a drive to stay updated on legal developments are essential.
