About the RoleBase Location:Cardiff, Reading or PerthSalary:£55,573 - £63,643 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.Working Pattern:12 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment | Full Time |Flexible Firstoptions availableWhat is the RoleAs a Project Manager within SSE Business Energy, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects that meet all the required standards of quality and success. As part of your role you will:- Deliver one or more simultaneous projects to the required quality, meeting strict timelines and staying within budget.- Establish and maintain effective relationships within and across project teams to ensure smooth operation and information flow.- Take proactive ownership of all project governance elements including risk management, issue resolution, dependency coordination, and project documentation.- Manage stakeholder relations and interact with third parties as required, upholding the companys interests and project deliverables.- Analyse project problems and ensure issues are addressed and resolved promptly, maintaining the projects progress towards its goals.What do I needTo be considered for this role, we would love you to have:- Experience working in a complex regulated environment in a project or programme delivery role, for preference in Energy business sector, however experience in a similarly regulated industry/sector will be acceptable.- Extensive demonstratable experience managing and delivering projects successfully across the whole project lifecycle.- Strong stakeholder management, with an ability to work at all levels of the organisation.- Experience managing complex projects with budgets up to £5M, and experience of managing more than one project at a time.- Relevant practitioner level qualification required, degree level education desired. (Preferred qualifications to include; PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master.)About our BusinessThe race to net zero is intensifying for businesses of all sizes.
