Job Description

Are you eager to kick-start your career in the mortgage industry Were looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor, working in partnership with a leading estate agency in Cardiff. This role offers an exceptional opportunityto receive comprehensive training and support while gaining valuable experience in mortgage advisory services.Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand the mortgage market, products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in providing tailored mortgage advice and solutions to clients referred by the estate agency.
  • Support senior advisors in managing client relationships and mortgage applications.
  • Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
  • Assist in researching and recommending suitable mortgage products.
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Provide ongoing communication and updates to clients throughout the mortgage application process.
  • Work towards meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance goals.
Requirements:
  • CeMAP 1 qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Clean credit history.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop within the mortgage industry.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Basic salary up to £29,000, including car allowance and financial guarantees for the first 5 months.
  • OTE of £45,000 - £50,000.
  • Comprehensive training and support provided.
