Investigating purchase ledger queries. Reconciling supplier statements to ensure the ledger is accurate.- Employee expenses - Process new starter and leaver expense accounts. Checking and processing employee expense claims.- Month end management accounts - After date invoice accrual. Assisting with the GBP and EUR bank reconciliations.- Sales ledger support - Recording incoming payments. Raising customer invoices.- Liaising with external auditors - Helping with the preparation of annual audit information.Working hours: Monday to Friday approx. 8.30am - 5pm (we can be flexible to fit around travel)You will be enrolled onto the AAT Assistant Accountant Level 3 qualification, delivered on weekly day release (15 months to achieve).About YouTo be considered as a Finance Apprentice, you will need:- GCSEs at level 4 (grade C) or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) are desirable but not essential- A keen interest in pursuing a career in Finance- Excellent administration and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work- Personable, presentable and articulate- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel) and ability to learn new systems quickly- Flexibility and the willingness to do what’s required and support the team- High attention to detail- The ability to communicate to internal and external customers, both verbally and writtenAbout UsEstablished in 2010, Medstrom has developed a strong reputation for providing a reliable, dedicated and trusted service to our partners, across the UK and Ireland.
