Job Description

  • Location: City Hall, E16 1ZE
  • Job Type: Temporary, Full-time. Hybrid working.
The Greater London Authority are looking to recruit a Business Support Officer who is proactive, adaptable, and efficient. This role is perfect for someone with previous experience within a similar role and who has experience planning and organising, includingmanaging Boards. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver who can juggle multiple conflicting tasks and prioritise effectively. Day to day of the role:
  • Accurately take minutes during meetings and provide diary support to senior staff.
  • Plan and organise board meetings, showcasing strong problem-solving skills.
  • Handle multiple tasks, prioritise in a fast-paced environment, and manage conflicting demands.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the organisation, collaborating effectively with various teams.
  • Drive improvements in ways of working and streamline processes for better efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven business support experience
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage board meetings.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A self-starter who is motivated and can work independently.
