Job Description

Data Analyst

  • Location: Central London, near St Pauls station and Moorgate station
  • Job Type: Full time, Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home), 9am-5pm
  • Salary: £35-45K depending on experience
We are seeking a Data Analyst to provide essential support to our clients data operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data processes and experienced with SQL. In this role you will gain experience building automated pipelinesand maintaining data warehouses within the Azure environment; any prior experience with Azure would be seen as a beneficial.This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to identify reporting issues and develop effective solutions,as well as strategizingwith DevOps to tackle existing challenges. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support and back up data operations by understanding and improving current processes.
  • Build automated pipelines within the Azure environment to streamline data operations.
  • Maintain the data warehouse, ensuring its integrity and accessibility.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand reporting pain points and assist with data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to strategize and implement the best solutions for existing problems.
  • Prepare and collate information using SQL/Python to respond to ad hoc business queries.
  • Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI to present insights and findings effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Excel and a good understanding of SQL.
  • Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualisation tools.
  • An understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure.
  • Knowledge of transactional databases and data warehouses.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
