For over 60 years, Reed’s engineering and manufacturing specialists have been recruiting professionals like you for permanent, temporary and contract positions.We are currently working with an organisation in Chelmsfordwho are looking to hire a MechanicalDesign Engineer.The successful appointee will have experience inprocess system design, ideally design for manufacture.This is a newly created position due to a period of growth, and the company boasts an exciting future ahead.Responsibilities:

Responsible for mechanical design of process systems, including creating Piping and Instrument Diagrams and General Arrangement Drawings for process systems.
Creating Mechanical data sheets for project specific components.
Attending in person and online design review meetings with clients.
Assisting with the procurement of project specific components

Skills & Experience Required:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Proven experience in engineered/manufactured process.
Very experienced with AutoCAD, Inventor, MS Office, Internet and Emails.
5+ years of experience in a similar field.
