Job Role: Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: Colchester, EssexSalary: £65,000 - £70,000 DOEWorking hours/ days: Monday to Friday Job Type: Permanent Benefits: Company Car, Competitive PackageEleven Eleven Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.• Conduct detailed feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.• Prepare, negotiate, and analyse costs for tenders and contracts.• Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and mentorship.• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project completion within budget.• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.Requirements:• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentOur client specialises in residential and commercial property development and construction, the quality-focused team ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest specification.
