Job Description

KS1 Teacher - Maternity Cover (North Chesterfield) Position: KS1 Teacher (Maternity Cover)Location: North ChesterfieldContract: Full Time (Maternity Cover)Duration: Full Academic YearHours: Monday to Friday About Us: Our small, semi-rural primary school in north Chesterfield is known for its close-knit community and supportive learning environment. The Role: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our established team on a full-time basis to cover a maternity leave. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and maintaining the continuity of learning for our youngstudents. Requirements:

  • Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1)
  • Commitment: Ability to work full time, Monday to Friday, for the full academic year
  • Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and a passion for early childhood education
Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons tailored to KS1 students
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience
