Job Description

Sellick Partnership is looking for an interim senior procurement professional to deliver procurement support, to senior leaders to enable cost effective, compliance contracts that deliver savings.This is an excellent opportunity for an MCIPS Procurement Contractor looking for their next opportunity within interim procurment.The successful applicant must

Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a public sector procurement environment, preferable local government.
Have an operational understanding public procurement legislation.
Have experience in using Frameworks.
Has the ability to communicate well at all levels.
Can work autonomously in a busy environment.
Has experience in analysing procurement data.
Has the ability to identify procurement and supply chain risks.
Be an excellent team player.
Has excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

This role is operational and will involve, advising budget managers and senior leaders on the most appropriate sourcing strategy, supporting market engagement, drafting tender documents, reviewing specification documents, managing the end-to-end tender processthrough the Councils e-procurement software (Proactis), conducting evaluation and mediation meetings, drafting contract documents, writing reports and communicating with suppliers through the Councils e-Procurement software (Proactis).Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
