Role: Senior Procurement OfficerLocation: ChesterfieldRate: £400 per dayDuration: Up to 6 monthsHybrid working 3/2 (Office / Home)My client is looking for an interim senior procurement professional to deliver procurement support, to senior leaders to enable cost effective, compliance contracts that deliver savings to the business.This role will be based in Chesterfield, and it is expected that 3 days per week will be spent in the office, with the remainder working remotely if required when the initial induction period has concluded. The successful applicant must: * Hold a full MCIPS qualification or have a degree in Procurement and Supply Chain.* Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a public sector procurement environment, preferable local government. * Have an operational understanding public procurement legislation.* Have experience in using Frameworks.* Has the ability to communicate well at all levels.* Can work autonomously in a busy environment.* Has experience in analysing procurement data.* Has the ability to identify procurement and supply chain risks.* Be an excellent team player.* Has excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Sourcing the following categories of expenditure would be highly advantageous.
