Committed to excellence and innovation,our client is at the forefront of the aviation industry, driving product development in new electrical aircraft galley inserts.Why Join Our Client*Innovative Projects: Be at the forefront of cutting-edge projects in the fast-growing aircraft galley insert division.*Leadership Role: Oversee and supervise projects, coordinating with a dynamic team to drive product development activities.*Global Impact: Contribute to the development of new electrical aircraft galley inserts with a company that has a global footprint.*Collaborative Environment: Work closely with design engineers, procurement, manufacturing, and external consultants in a collaborative environment.*Professional Development: Utilize your expertise in managing multiple projects and leading teams while growing professionally.*Competitive Compensation: Receive a competitive salary and benefits package.Key Responsibilities*Responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleaning and housekeeping is maintained in all areas, including but not limited to, factories, offices, canteens, kitchenettes, storerooms and external areas, *To ensure cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to, *To ensure factory floors and gangways are cleaned when required and the battery is charged and maintained on the floor washing machine, *To ensure floors are hoovered, swept and mopped when required, *To ensure all internal and external waste bins are emptied daily, and the area around them is kept clean and tidy, *To empty the cardboard storage containers into the cardboard skip, *To regularly clean internal windows, doors and furnishings, *To ensure toilets are cleaned and all soaps and paper products are replenished regularly, *To notify the Cleaning Supervisor when stock levels of cleaning products need replenishing, *To ensure all external areas are kept clean and tidy including litter picking, weeding, emptying cigarette butt containers, and sweeping up debris, *To ensure all cleaning products are used in compliance with the relevant COSHH data, *To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health & Safety Policies and Procedures, *To report any concerns relating to cleaning, health, safety and / or welfare to the Cleaning Supervisor, *To adhere to Company Policies and Procedures, *To support team members with other tasks as and when necessary, *To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant when requiredExperience and Skills*Ability to undertake general cleaning to a high standard*Basic understanding of COSHH, with respect to cleaning chemicals*Experience of manual handling*Previous experience in the same or similar role*Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment*Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines*A full, UK driving license (desirable)Salary and Package*Salary - Competitive*Health Care Cash Plan (After one years service)*Contributory Pension Scheme for eligible employees*Employee Assistance Programme (After one years service)*24 days holiday (in addition to UK Bank and public holidays)*Life Assurance*Company Sick Pay Scheme (After one years service)*Free access to a local gym (for Southend Site only)*Free car parking Early finish on Fridays*Sports & Social Club*Onsite Café facilities at New FacilityWorking HoursFull-time hours: 39 HoursMon - Thurs: 8:00 - 17:00 (30 mins lunch)Fri: 8:00 - 13:00 (no lunch)How to Apply: If you are an experienced Electrical Assembler looking to make a significant impact in the aviation industry, we invite you to apply.
