Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) - Full TimeVale of GlamorganPay rate TBCAn AMHP is required to joining the Vale of Glamorgan Social Services Community Mental Health Team for a 5 day week contract until March 2021. Three of those days will be as AMHP and two covering other duties of the team mainly around Social Circumstances reports, attending Mental Health Review Tribunals and a small caseload. There is an expectation that assessments can extend beyond normal working hours. Pay rate for this role is up to be confirmed by the local authority. The AMHP service covers the whole of the Local Authority area.Duties and responsibilities for this position include:* To have responsibility for assessing safeguarding referrals, including carrying out investigations, completing risk assessments, chairing meetings (where necessary) and ensuring that action plans are effective in keeping people safe.
