Rhondda Cynon Taf Council currently have a vacancy for a social worker to join their Childrens Services in a front line Child Protection Team. The role will be a full time position with an immediate start available and will be for an initial period of 3 months with a view to this being extended on a rolling basis!The successful candidate will carry out assessments, plans, interventions and reviews with vulnerable families. You would also provide advice, guidance and support to the support workers in the team. The case load will be made up of a mixture of child protection and child in need cases so experience of court proceedings is desirable for this position.
