Job Description

ReceptionistColchester£26,500Receptionist in Colchester needed. This role will be covering a number of areas within a dynamic corporate environment. This amazing opportunity is working in fabulous offices in a team of friendly outgoing customer service experts. Thisopportunity involves a mixture of reception, administration as well as providing excellent customer services. Liaising with clients on a daily basis occasionally taking calls on a switchboard (however most have direct dials) If you have worked as either a corporatereceptionist, OR 5* HotelReceptionistOR have premium Cabin Crew airline experience then please apply. Welcoming clients using customer service skills, for the front desk, front of house as the mainambassador for this firm, also the organising of events. Welcoming clients & visitors using your excellent communication skills, liaising with people face to face to deliver that first-class guest services experienceReception and Visitor Management:

  • Welcome employees, clients, and visitors with a warm and professional greeting.
  • Conduct guest registration and issue visitor passes.
  • Validate parking and provide directions or assistance as needed.
  • Assist with meeting setup, furniture resets, and delivery of equipment and supplies.
  • Support new-hire onboarding and be the first point of contact for site services.
  • Manage inventory and order office supplies.
  • Organize and support community events, acting as a local expert.
  • Build a network of local contacts and share regional news.
  • Plan and deliver surprise activities.
Event Management:
  • Coordinate and support meeting and event management.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, and audio-visual setup.
Space Management (Moves, Adds, Changes - MAC):
  • Coordinate office space moves, adds, and changes.
  • Assist in resetting spaces and communicate related information.
  • Manage locker allocations and assist employees with re-setting.
Internal Communications:
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain databases and digital tools.
  • Support data entry for reports and internal communication efforts.
  • Manage employee requests through Outlook and Slack.
Others:
  • Track and respond to questions, maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Support workplace supervisors with data capture and reporting.
  • Present information effectively and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist Facility Manager with mailroom and facilities management duties.
