Job Title: SEMH Learning Support AssistantLocation: Corby, NN18Pay: £85-£95 per dayJob Type: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pmCompany: TimePlan EducationAre you passionate about supporting the educational and emotional development of young people Do you have experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues If so, TimePlan Educationis seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join an all-through SEN school in Corby, NN18.About the Role:As an SEMH Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH needs across both primary and secondary age groups. Your flexibility in working with different year groups will be highly valued, as you provide tailored supportto help students overcome their challenges and achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs in their academic and emotional development.
  • Assist in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
  • Monitor and record students progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working with SEN, particularly SEMH.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people.
  • Confident, empathetic, and patient with a strong ability to build rapport with students.
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work with different year groups as needed.
